As I arrived from work, I just sat infront of the T.V. and watched a late afternoon game show with Lola Nene...
I then decided to go outside with my nephew when I noticed my old BC set-up near the wall at the back of the house.. I then decided to give it a try and practice my casting near the net where Barras were being held... After about 5mins. of casting, I thought my bait was caught to a rock or something when it suddenly started to peel the braid out of my reel and then a huge leap out of the water, it was a Haruan hooked on my bait... I then asked my Lola Nene to hand me the landing net near her office (kubo)  cause I was not expecting any bites from my lure...
After about 3-5mins I landed this 1.8KG Haruan

After landing the Haruan, I thought there might be some more of those dalags lurking near the Barra net... Just as I thought.. Another Strike... Unfortunately it was "the one that got away".
It was certainly a memorable accident for me... 
The fish was caught and released after taking pictures...

Aling Nene's open almost everyday.. Although the fish are still small at the moment... It may take some time to grow those tilapias and barras...
