Filipino Anglers Organization

FilipinoAnglers.Org is an online portal for the Next Generation Filipino Anglers. It seeks to connect the Philippines with anglers from around the world, to highlight what our waters have to offer, to promote responsible fishing and camaraderie among anglers.

VISION STATEMENT

• To educate the Filipino Angler in the technicalities and joys of responsible sportsfishing.
• To make sport and recreation angling one of the top family sports in the country.
• To help enrich the lives of families living around coastal areas, estuaries, rivers, and lakes.
• To put the Philippine Islands in the map of premier fishing spots to be frequented by sportfishing fanatics worldwide
• To promote environmental awareness, protection and conservation throughout the country.

OUR MISSION

• Continuously nurture a virtual community of anglers from all walks of life where they can discuss, teach and learn everything about fishing and more.
• Conduct regular sportsfishing tournaments, inland, inshore and offshore, fully covered by media, to increase awareness of the family sport.
• Encourage investors and local government agencies, to build or integrate in their projects, inland fishing parks, so as to make these sportsfishing spots easily accessible to the common Filipino.
• Spearhead worthwhile projects inline with boosting tourism, developing the fisheries and conserving the environment
• Actively promote what the Philippines has to offer to anglers around the world
• Lobby in Philippine Congress a law that will finally give protection to the country’s marine ecosystem.
